Port Grimaud is actually an annexed part of the village by the name of Grimaud. It is south-west of Saint-Tropez, it is located half an hour from Frejus, and Sainte Maxime is 12km away.

It's a great choice for acquiring property especially if you are a boat owner as many of the properties come with their own mooring which are very hard to find in the South of France.

The proximity to Saint-Tropez is a huge benefit of course and very much part of the allure as it is visible across the gulfe of Saint tropez and only a few minutes away by boat.

Properties:

The entire seafront village was designed in the 1960's by an architect named François Spoerry, thus it is a rather modern town, yet it was constructed in a Venetian style.

The majority of the real estate there comes with its own berth for docking the owner's huge sailing yachts and assorted boats in the Gulf of Saint Tropez. The sale of the property has been so successful that it is also a Port Grimaud 2 and 3!

There are also boats available to take you to St. Tropez if you so desire. A market is held twice a week, so that you can stock up on all manner of food, including bread, vegetables, and meat, to make your stay there as pleasant as possible.

Things To Do:

In this Venice of France, of course there is a fantastic yacht club. It is called Yacht Club International de Port Grimaud, and once you visit it; you'll understand the "International" portion in its name, as so many languages are spoken there!

There is never a question as to what to do, as you can: golf, tennis, go shopping, sightseeing, restaurants, sailing, boating, waterskiing, parasailing, jet skiing, swimming, snorkeling, diving, windsurfing, biking, hiking, fishing, fitness center/gym, cinemas/movie theaters, live theatre, museums, miniature golf, horseback riding as well as take cooking courses from well-renowned chefs!
